A little tip David, don’t rewind your film all the way into the canister when you’ve finished shooting, that way you can cut the leader off and start off the spool in daylight before you put it in the bag (there is enough film to do this before the first frame)… I do all my films like this and never had an issues… After you agitate your tank give it a couple of taps on the work surface to dislodge any micro air bubbles from the film surface.. Great to see this content from your channel. 👍🇬🇧
Instructions unclear. Water boiled at 100deg and wouldn't increase temp.
He’s American and using Fahrenheit which is 212 degrees boiling point… His water is 38.9 degrees Celsius for all non Americans 😂
Thanx Dave!
So happy to see a video pop up over here. Thanks!
When I was in high school many years ago, we would process slide film during lunch time. We would process at an elevated temperature. The faster you got started the better, as the toilets flushing before the next class would cause the hot water used to keep the bath temperature would start to fluctuate
So awesome, thank you so much for sharing he process! I love my print from the 1990 film!
I can smell this video. takes me back to the darkroom at college
Really interesting process indeed, Dave! 😃 But yeah... Digital photography for me. 😬 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Is your immersion circulator just sitting on the bottom of the tub, or do you have it attached somehow? I have the same model and always use the brace, but if I can just put it on the bottom of a pot that'd be a game changer.
It's clamped to the side and does not sit on the bottom.
David, have you seen Technology Connections video on film? It's also good.
I have! Love his videos.
A couple of years ago I developed black and white negatives by scanning them and inverting in photoshop. I tried to scan color negatives and used different gradient maps to make the image correct. I came close but I couldn’t find a gradient map that was perfect. I would like to know what you would recommend.
Yeah, it's really hard in photoshop. Really wish they have a "negative" option. I use a plugin called Negative Lab Pro for Lightroom Classic

Sir can I buy engine to you, how much? I'm here in the Philippines, I need the engine like that, for my racing boat,
Restored one in 2004 .for an old Lady did the motor and body work and paint nice car . But the bad thing back then it's a bastard car hard to find parts moulding.s and such little things. They only had that one year
Beautifully explained.
Weld inside the block and cover to stiffen the motor.
Not allowed.
@SomethingAboutMaking in racing, if you are not cheating, you are not trying.
@@timlaws7034 Reminds of the quote by the great Gus McCrae ~ "A man who wouldn't cheat for a poke don't want one bad enough"
and were can I find a flywheel too please give me info thank you
im not a racer either but im trying too upgrade my car b to a motorcycle slide carb and im dealing with a flat spot basically if you floor the throttle it just wants to stall if you ease into it it works I like the motorcycle carbs do y\to adjusting ratio is so much better but again dealing with stall or flat spots what to do I don't no? its a Subaru 9.5hp motor
I'm not belittling the video or the work or the modification but I was doing this before most people on this forum were born I started around 1968 but I started modifying in 1970 but I didn't have any tools didn't have a shop didn't have any money now everybody's doing the same thing that was in my brain back then so this modification stuff isn't new as far as valve ceiling I did head work for 20 years from 80 to the turn of the century and I used gasoline solvent Windex air pressure from behind and overnight liquid test so nothing is new the only difference nowadays is people are using CNC machines which did not exist I had to do everything by hand also people are making speed Parts which did not exist when I was doing this my first engine was a Wisconsin ACN which is a 6 horsepower sump pump motor I threw away the governor it has a 10 lb cast iron flywheel the motor itself weighs about 65 or so pounds when built I had it going over 60 miles an hour in a go-kart without a clutch I was very poor then I rebuilt the whole motor myself when I was 14 it took me a solid year
12:35 serious question, how does a side cover increase compression?
It doesn't.
Part number no longer applies. All have the same number.
That’s a lot of work. I received a ton of screen printing ink and was checking out how to use it but I don’t think it’s for me lol I have 2 cricut machines, so much easier. Tell me please, what do you find about this screen printing process that makes it stand out from using vinyl from a machine. Maybe I’m missing something.
Have you considered building one naked on camera using cardboard to hide the naughty bits? Me either.
One can build this engine in about 1/12th the time of most F1 engines at around 1/750,000th the cost.
when you reverse the dremel, does it put the waste material back together?
Duration is simply the time of the event closed or open
EXCELLENT....Your a good instructor😊
That is not even close to being "stock appearing" that's a stage 3 kit
It falls exactly in the stock appearing class that I run. Thanks.
All these "it should be fine but just incase, I'll do it anyway" says you don't know what you're doing. Clearancing rotating parts should be done based on facts.
Awesome video, man. Really enjoyed it. Very informative.
Add to make that 5-speed transmission work all you have to do is make the chain just a little bit tighter I would say an 1 inch I should run a lot better if not try 1/2 inch tighter on the chain
Even with thread lock i would never put a not serviceable nut on the inside of the case thats just asking for it to come loose especially with the threads to the inside oil and extreme heat...
I've never seen anyone so serious about amping up what starts out as essentially a lawnmower engine. Cool project!
"Some of us don't have friends"... subscribed!
Can you sell me the motor?
This was amazing.
Nice
It's good to see how the man do it with minimum material, it mentally help beginners believe in themselves and get started
great
I want to know where you got that hat
SS was a trim option,it could be a 327,396 or 427.
63,67 & 75 were my favorite Impala.
Just wondering why don't they use like a rotax max engine
May not matter in this application, but you should never grind a crankshaft in general, they are precision balanced from the factory; better to take the material from the crankcase to get clearance
A single cylinder engine will never be balanced.
the out take? jkjk
This is a build engines by night and run a daycare the next day room he's in 😂😂
i know a little about engines and i stumbled upon your channel and i love it ! thank you
A lot of good info,,
Thanks, a good intro
Damn bro, you definately earned that thumbs up! From idea to running bike is brain shaking. And how smooth it runs! All yours bro. Amazing! One of the most ambitious projects I’ve seen pulled off on UA-cam.
